About Women CAN
Women CAN is the caucus of like-minded Non Profit making organization of Nepalese Society. The name Women CAN is the amalgamation of the empowering approach for capability enhancement of women living in Nepal. Women signifies our focus on women, whereas CAN abbreviates as Capacitate, Affirm and Network. The sole purpose of the institution is to strengthen the capacity across the communities and promote sustainability through financial literacy of all the women to become entrepreneurs.
Our Mission is to enhance the capacities of women through financial literacy and economic empowerment. Women CAN acts to create a nationwide network for women entrepreneurs to come together to exchange ideas and information to explore areas of mutual interest.

Our Story
How We Got Started
Our Women CAN team, which was always a group of women from various professional background, used to informally meet and discuss casually about our lives. During all those conversations, what was common between all of us was the feeling that we can do much more than what we were doing in our lives and there is large population of women whom we could help through our professional expertise. Thus, after series of continuous discussions, we decided to give it a formal direction and set a new path for better society by empowering women.
Where We Are Now
Since its establishment, Women CAN have organized various financial literacy programs, awareness campaigns and seed funding programs. Today, there are lots of women who come to us for mentor-ship and support; and we are actually proud that women, especially young ones, look up to us to execute their plannings and make a difference in their life.
