A woman is the first source of education for any child. What a child learns during his early stage of life determines his character and his character decides his destiny, and all this eventually affects the whole society. Thus, An educated mother can be a solution to all the problems in society.
Besides this, women constitute half the population of our country. Imagine our country if all the women had as much opportunity as men do. The word ‘Women empowerment’, which is often overused, can actually be a solution to major factor to change the country.
How we work to achieve our mission
We have divided all our initiatives into three major groups.
Training for empowerment
We organize various training and mentorship programs for women in the community to boost their morale and increase their competence level to help them become contributing member of their family. These training programs have been an amazing learning opportunity for us too, where we too, get the chance to hear and learn from the experience of the trainees.
Access to Finance
Women CAN seeks to provide women with a platform to connect with market opportunities. With our ‘Access to finance’ program, We connect with women entrepreneurs to provide them consulting on funds management that can turn their ideas into a viable business. We help women entrepreneurs to deal with various financial intermediaries.
Awareness Campaign
We have been consistently organizing various awareness campaigns throughout the country and it has produced great results. It is always an amazing experience for us when women come to us asking for more support; we can see the spark in their eyes to do something worthy. This is the zeal that inspires to keep on doing what we are doing.

Enhancing the capabilities of people through financial literacy and economic empowerment. Women CAN will try to create a nationwide network for women entrepreneurs to come together to exchange ideas and information to explore areas of mutual interest
Our Objectives

- To promote economic activities related programs to empower Nepalese women.
- To halt brain-drain among the youths of the country.
